Riding to Brugges on his motorbike…
When I emailed Sophie about viewing her images she said, “Tom and I are riding to Bruges on his motorbike for a long weekend” which I thought was pretty cool, and thats because they are cool. Easy going, hugely welcoming and always a smile, both were an absolute pleasure to photograph and when the rain came in to unsettle the celebrations, they had brollies and spirit to carry on and enjoy the party.
The ceremony was held in a beautiful church in a little village called Leigh in Surrey, and Sophie and her Dad walked down the road to the church arm in arm. The reception was held in Westmead Events with a huge marquee and ample room for tents and camping. Impeccable speeches followed by shots for all (no dropping to speak of I promise) the whole day was a fantastic success.
Bow ties for the lads and pieonies for the ladies the whole bridal group looked amazing, and when the rain stopped we all headed outside for portraits. It was great fun and glad to have time to shoot some evening shots of the couple who although not feeling entirely comfortable with the idea of portraits looked fantastic together.
